SEO
SEO is a system, not a one-time checklist.
Build useful pages, sound technical foundations and a clear way to measure what improves.

Make important pages discoverable
SEO begins with discoverability. Search engines need crawlable links, descriptive titles and content that uses the language customers use. Google’s Search Essentials places helpful content, relevant words and crawlable links among the core practices that can influence how a site appears in Search.
Give each page a purpose
Start with the pages closest to a business outcome: core services, locations, comparisons, common questions and proof. Give each page a clear purpose instead of creating many near-duplicate pages around small keyword variations.
Measure the response
Measure progress in Search Console using impressions, clicks, queries and landing pages. An increase in impressions can show that a page is becoming eligible for more searches before traffic or enquiries rise. Treat rankings as context; connect organic visits to qualified enquiries or sales wherever possible.
Understand the role of advertising
SEO and advertising solve different timing problems. Google states that buying ads does not affect organic search presence. Ads can create immediate, controlled visibility while useful organic pages build discoverability over time.
Assign ownership to the work
A content gap, a broken template and an inaccurate service description may belong to different people. Give each action an owner and an acceptance check. Otherwise a useful audit can remain unchanged for months while every team assumes someone else is implementing it.
Keep the first priority list short. Fixing an inaccessible service page is usually a more concrete task than pursuing an undefined goal to improve authority. Explain what the work will change for the visitor.
Keep a record that survives team changes
Maintain a dated log of major edits, migrations and technical fixes. Include the reason for each change and any expected follow-up. This helps a new team member understand the site without repeating every investigation.
Review performance with that context. Search demand, other marketing activity and sales capacity can all affect business outcomes. A useful review separates completed improvements from assumptions about what caused a change in traffic.
